Keep Your Workouts Going This Summer!


Summer Skills Challenge

 

Just because we are social distancing, does not mean we can't work on our game this summer!

Every week, we will have a new workout for you to do.  We will have team challenges throughout the summer for ultimate bragging rights! 

The goal is to get a basketball in your hands in your home, garage, park or driveway and make the best of the free time you have at home this summer. 


Time Period

The Husky Skills Challenge will start on June 15th and will end on September 7th, 2020
 

Weekly, Monthly, and Summer Goals

Each week there will be a workout posted and you can do in your driveway, sidewalk, or park.  Some challenges will have a shooting component and you will need to have a basket to do those.

 
The challenges will be posted on the St. Anthony Basketball Boosters website.  Email bybashotclub@saboosters.org if you would like us to email them to you.

Record Keeping

 

It is the player’s responsibility to record their progress throughout the summer.

After you complete the weekly challenge, enter your info into the google sheet at the link below.

What Should I do After I'm Done?

 

Keep Shooting!  See how many layups you can do in a row.  Make 5 free-throws.  Perfect your Harden Step-Back shot!  

Another good place to start is spinning the ball to yourself, catch and get into proper shooting position, go straight up and shoot the ball with proper form.  Next, you can add a dribble moving right or left before shooting.

Have fun with it.  Shoot with a friend.  Make it a friendly competition to see who can make the most out of 10 or 20.

Just shoot.  Shoot all summer and get better.
