Our Flag Football league is open to children in 1st through 4th grade, with grade divisions consisting of 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th. We encourage all playing abilities and are focused on learning the game, teamwork and having FUN!

• Players at this age are learning their movements ABC's - agility, balance, coordination, and speed.  We introduce the fundamentals of football through fun, non-contact flag football in St. Anthony 
• Skill building, participation, and confidence are more important than the final score
• Players will learn skills like throwing, catching, running, ball-handling, hip tracking, and footwork
• 1st/2nd Grade Flag will follow USA Football Stage 2 "DEVELOP AND ACHIEVE" program that has been created for players age 7-9  in the USA Football Developmental Model

• Players at this age begin to understand football-specific skills and learn to compete in a fun, challenging environment
• Players will work to learn more about working in a team concept
• A focus is to manage matchups both during practices and games so there is minimal unbalanced matchups
• Technical skill development and the start of tactical awareness will start to show at this level
• 3rd and 4th Grade Flag will follow USA Football Stage 3 "ACHIEVE AND ADVANCE" program that has been created for players age 10-12  in the USA Football Developmental Model

Team jersey and a flag belt are included in your registration fee.    Cleats are optional but highly encouraged. Athletic clothes should be  worn in games and practices. 

Our league cannot exist without the dedication and support from parent volunteers and coaches. The league supports its volunteer coaches with an outline of goals and objectives for the season and supplies lesson plans and other helpful tools, this helps us maintain a consistently high quality of learning for all teams in the league. All coaches are required to complete an application as well as complete a background checks.
